Our Fashion Show Coordinator, Kahlisha Cotton, is looking forward to producing a
fashion show that is a true representation of today’s women. The “real women have
curves” production will showcase a diverse selection of fashions that highlight the
curvation of women today and of the men who respect them.
This is your opportunity to support a worthy cause and is your opportunity to strut your
bold and creative designs that express and celebrate your love of self and your favorite
doll. This favorite event amongst convention goers is open to all and assigned on a first
come first serve basis. All fashion show participants must complete the fashion show
form and submit their ensemble descriptions for themselves and their doll.
Category of Fashion:
City Chic: On any metropolitan street, sophistication at work or for cocktails after work.
Sunday’s Best: Inspirational & Uplifting from Sunday service to Sunday Brunch
9-5: Create the outfit that makes a powerful statement in the corporate boardroom
Vogue: Studio 54, Ru Paul styles that enhance and showcase movement
Fashion Flair: Bold color and designs think “Ebony Fashion Fair “
Mud cloth Mystic: Celebrate with the unique textile of Mali, West Africa
White Linen: Stark, Crisp and Elegant is the look
Black & Bold: More than that little black dress
Tantalizing Textures: Experiment with suede, leather, feathers and fur
